About Patrick Clinage

Patrick Clinage is in his third year with The Renaissance Performing Arts as a Box Office Associate and Development  Assistant.  Patrick holds Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees in Vocal Performance from Heidelberg College (Tiffin, Ohio) and Duquesne University of the Holy Spirit (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), respectively, and is currently working toward his Doctorate in Vocal Pedagogy.  As a baritone singer, his past performances include:  John Rutter’s ‘Magnificat’ at Carnegie Hall in New York City, conducted by John Rutter, himself; the lead Papageno in Mozart’s ‘Die Zauberflote’ and Simone in ‘Gianni Schicchi’ at Carnegie Music Hall in Pittsburgh, PA; international performances in such roles as Don Giovanni, Masetto, Don Pasquale, Count Rodolfo, and Gianni Schicchi while furthering his studies in opera in Oderzo, Italy with vocal instructor, Claudia Pinza, a former leading soprano at the Metropolitan, La Scala, and San Francisco operas and daughter of the late Ezio Pinza; bass soloist for Mozart’s K220 Missa Brevis, The Sparrow Mass (Spatzenmesse) and soloist for G. B. Martin’s ‘Domine ad ajuvandum me festina’ at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Pittsburgh;  bass soloist with the Mansfield Symphony Orchestra in Handel’s ‘Messiah’;  and baritone soloist with the Mansfield Symphony Orchestra in ‘Carmina Burana’.  He has additionally performed in Renaissance Theater productions as Legles in ‘Les Miserables’, Brian in ‘Avenue Q’ and as a member of the chorus in ‘Young Frankenstein’, as well as, performing for various private events.  Patrick recently completed an assignment with OSU-Mansfield as their Music Director for the 2015 Spring Production of ‘Working.’   Mr. Clinage was a former member of the Pittsburgh Baroque Ensemble, and he is a current member of the Mansfield Symphony Chorus, bass section leader of the St. Peter’s Catholic Church Choir, a member of the St. Peter’s Bell Choir, a member of his own church choir at Grace Episcopal Church, and he is a voice instructor/coach with The Richland Academy in Mansfield.
